I don’t know if they changed the ingredients but Maui Shea Butter masque has Propolyne Glycol and PPG. Not such great ingredients…

I’m going from waist length healthy curls, back to square one. Deep conditioning is my hope. So much damage from someone who didn’t listen to me. The water is literally rolling off of my hair and my hair is dry in 10 minutes as opposed to 6 hours or more. I’m heart broken 😭😭😭

Bianca when I went to get my Deva cut they were HATIN’ On the Maui Moisture Hair Mask! T.T I don’t know if it was a sales tatic tho cause they were talking about how it "probably" still has silicones or sulfates in it! I told her there wasn’t any and she commented on how my hair wasn’t absorbing any of the moisture! I’m so mad cause I had JUST bough a new jar and now I’m sacred to use it and I spent 100 dollars on devacurl products T.T

Do protein treatments work the same way? In terms of using heat with it?
Just a tip if they’re to expensive don’t go to drug stores just go curly hair specialty shops that are Afro Caribbean small black owned businesses that are probably in your local town will have the exact same stuff for half the price

I feel like me and my hair are friends one day and enemies the next 😞, but I feel so confused as well- I’ve gotten a hair mask for the first time and I really wanna use it..problem is that I’m not sure if I have to use it on the day I wash my hair or if I could use it 3 days after…☹️ if someone can help me please do 🙂

I have straight silky shiny soft hair .I use silicones on it .my hair loves silicone .I use a clarifying shampoo once 3 weeks.I use Moroccan oil moisture repair 1 liter shampoo and conditioner and the olaplex masque once a month.After the shower the Moroccan oil.

I have being preparing for deep conditioning my hair, so, I got the flaxseed heat cap, and change my shampoo and conditioner to Maui for fine to medium curls and the Maui hair mask, .OMG!! Instant difference……Thank you.

This video has been my lifeline, especially the 10-in-1 mask you recommended… but now I’m completely lost after Shea Moisture stopped making that line and changed their formulations for the remaining lines too. It would be so so helpful if you could make an updated video like this one again 🥺
If I do the deep conditioning for 10 minutes and then wash it out, do I still use a leave in conditioner afterwards?

Mayi moisture is terrible I’ve used it twice and it destroyed my hair both times it became extremely dry and frizzy I had to do three coconut hair treatments before my hair started to go back to normal
But the correct order to apply a mask or deep conditioning is not always after the shampoo? If you do shampoo – conditioning and then the mask your cuticles will be closed and not receive the amount of nutrients it need.

Ok question because I see this all the time. If lady’s are following the CGM why are they using Shea moisture products? They have not so good ingredients. If it’s important to take care of curly hair why are we still using these products that have vary little benefits and some with harsh chemicals? Do some people not care to much about these things?
Have you tried the Kinky Curly products before? Like the shampoo, deep conditioner, the leave, the curling custard? I love those products and they are very concentrated so a little goes a long way
