Aquafor chapstick made my upper lip burn like a hot coal. Love the regular ointment, but for my lips I’m using lip oil.

Vaseline doesnt work for me. Biossance is not affordable or in my area paula’s choice is not in my area sumbum is only available as a sunscreen in my area, not as a lip product cetaplast is expensive.

Why??? What ingredients are so bad? Cortibalm got me through a rough patch with my lips and cicaplast just made them way worse. I think it depends on the person. We need evidence and facts!

There is no other! Forget Vaseline, it’s crap! Especially when it’s too late, this is when you feel like your lips are falling off your face. You need something that heals the barrier not something slapped on when lips are already sore. Vaseline isn’t healing. It just gunk slathered over soreness..does nothing!

Do peptides and hyaluronic acid help? I’ve been seeing these both in more and more lip balms now. I recently tried a sample from Clarins and it’s been amazing. Just hoping it’ll help.
