What do you if you actually need to use anti dandruff shampoo? I don’t use colour etc I have wavy hair but I still get slit ends
Anti-dandruff: I use the Dercos anti-dandruff for dry hair (with the yellow line on the packaging) and my hair is soft – this really does not dry out the hair. Of course I only use it on my scalp – focus on the scalp when washing hair.

I was watching this and i cut off a split end before you said we should not; but the problem here is that it’s realllllllyyy damaged, a 3cm close strand of hair has around 14 tree like slpit end. My hair is naturally curly but it’s damaged from heat so i mostly brush it or do like gel hairstyles(yes ik it’s bad but this is the only way my hair is tamed) and also my hair hasn’t grown since 3years ago when i cut some,just like 2inches off. I don’t know what to do please if you read this help me. Oh my hair is soo dry qnd I haven’t found my right products yet (i live in morocco too)

I was wondering if there is any chance that using retinol on the face can somehow lead to hair becoming dryer?
In the past 4 weeks my hair suddenly became much dryer than before and it happend in the similar time frame when I increased my use of retinol… Maybe its just a total coincidence but I was wondering if there was any data about that…..

i feel like i get split ends just by breathing. they literally come out of no where and i’ll never be able to have long healthy hair from it. i don’t use heat , dye, or towels. so it gets this bad just from brushing?????
Mine came from brushing as a kid I brushed it badly n I still did in 2023 so I physically ruined it now I’m this close to dusting my hair is 2 steps to get my hair healthy I also straighten my hair safely with Clara air brush thingy I use anti dandruff shampoo on scalp only I barely use it tho also I have a lot of build up on my scalp so I’ll use a clarifying shampoo THEN AFTER I DO ALL TAHT MY HAIR WILL BE HEALTHY !

I have layers and trimming my hair EVERY MONTH doesn’t help to prevent split ends. i have split ends a few days after haircut. I gave up on silk pillowcases and hair towels cuz it’s getting worse , not saying it does work it just been too long and my hair doesn’t improve. Very frustrating experience. Years ago was using regular shampoo and conditioners, I thought all the sulfates and silicones and other chemicals damaging my hair so started my product search journey. I tried sooo many budget versions and not so much budget friendly options, nothing seems working. I don’t use hair dryer a lot and never did.. when I had amazing, silky, thick hair, full of life and movement I really was taken it for granted now I cannot get even close to that condition. I’m out here looking for answers what diseases split ends can signalize

I’ve used Orby products and Kerastase for years and all the other professional brands and after 25 years of doing hair, I found that Kevin Murphy is the best out of all of them :)) (I recommend “young again” oil and they’re “young again” dry oil (aerosol can), their detangling spray and “Angel Wash” & “Angel rinse” for you. There are a few products that will Temporarily, glue the split together and can reinforce the shaft adjacent to the split to reduce or stop future breaks.

I have split ends starting at the root amd I don’t understand why
So I have the absolute worst split ends and breakage to where my hair is thinning out. But I do not use heat, maybe 5 times ever in 32yrs. I dont dye my hair. I only brush my hair after a shower. I don’t rub my hair with towels ever. I’m not rough when washing. The amount of hair I lose when I so brush or shower is enough to make a wig…every time. I don’t get how I still have such bad split and dry hair
